Clean with a soft damp cloth (microfibre cloths are perfect). Never immerse the timber (wood cheeseboards) in water. Do not put in dishwashers . Ideally for cleaning, clean as you would cutting boards. Set it in an empty sink (with no water in it), & use the spray nozzle from your tap to get all areas of the board clean. Use soft cloth with regular dish soap & water. Soft scrubs (the kind you use on a glass stove top), are okay for removing any stubborn food. Once clean, and dry, the timber can be wiped down with food grade mineral oil (avocado or vegetable oil), occasionally as needed to keep wood conditioned. Cutting directly on resin is not recommended. If minor scratches on resin occur, or to bring back shine, you can try buffing it with piano or Flitz type polish.
