Airdrie & Area Artists Studio Tour
A fun and unique way to spend a Saturday afternoon if you're in the Airdrie & area (just North of Calgary). Artists open their studios & some some are sharing space with other artists, to show their work, and get to know the artist. Original works will also be available. It's a free event, & is a self-guided type tour, but you must pre-register. See web/event link.
After you register, visitors can download or print the tour brochure and a map to help find all the studios, and artists bios to read before arriving. The artists might be demonstrating their work, and happily take questions about their media, style, technique or anything related to their art. Each studio has a door prize, winners will be notified by phone or email.
