Care of your piece: clean with a damp soft cloth (l use microfibre cloths). Never immerse the timber (wood cheeseboards) in water. Wood Boards are not dishwasher safe. To clean, set it in an empty sink (with no water in it), & use the spray nozzle from your tap to get all areas of the board clean along with regular dish soap & water. Soft scrubs (the kind you use on a glass stove top), are fine for removing any stubborn food.
Once clean, The timber can be wiped down with food grade mineral oil (do not recommend using food oils that can go rancid), occasionally & as needed to keep wood conditioned. Resin is FDA compliant, however cutting directly on resin is not recommended.
Ideally resin area is visual decor on the table, & food can be placed on wood areas. Dry goods (such as crackers or wrapped cheese) can be placed on resin area if added space needed.
